Sayed Jafar Ahmadi, PhD
Psychologist, Trauma Researcher & Growth Coach
Bard College, New York | Monash University, Australia | Founder of Behrawan
Welcome to my website.
I am a psychologist, trauma researcher, and growth coach dedicated to developing evidence-based psychological interventions that reduce human suffering and improve mental health outcomes, particularly among refugees, migrants, and communities affected by conflict and crisis.
My work focuses on trauma recovery, resilience, psychosocial support, and pathways of post-traumatic growth. Through research, teaching, and humanitarian collaboration, I seek not only to better understand psychological distress but also to help individuals and communities discover meaning, strengthen resilience, and continue growing in the midst of adversity and life challenges.
By bridging academic research with real-world humanitarian practice, I strive to contribute to compassionate, culturally sensitive, and sustainable approaches to healing and human development.
